I recently moved from a friends hosting service to A1 webhosting. I read the reviews on here and felt that they were worth looking into.

Contacted them and decided to sign up. After I got my website transfered I got banned. Not just from my site but from A1's site as well. Why? Cause according to them I had about 400 FTP connections going at once.
Now being a user of Filezilla I figure it could be possible, if I was using filezilla to load the files. Instead I was using cpanel to upload all the files and database information for my site. You can imagine how suprised I was to be banned for using cpanel to upload stuff.

After contacting them and getting unbanned I figured no biggy not going to be doing intense uploading for a while.

About a day later I have 5 people asking if the site is down. I of course can access the site just fine. They can't access the site or the a1 webhosting site. Needless to say I immediately canceled the service and have moved on to polurNet, where I should have gone in the first place. They don't ban random people for no reason!

On the plus side their costumer service was friendly and seemed knowledgeable and their prices were very reasonable, despite there site saying mega bits(Mb) not MegaBytes(MB)/Gigabits(Gb) not GigaBytes(GB).
