I never believed online review, but with 3ix proven over and over again that they fail to do their job. I draw the line when my site is hacked, and the reply is "we restarted the firewall and you won't face this problem anymore" Guess what, it still got hacked after less than 3 days. With all the password change it didn't make much difference. 3 days to crack 10 digit combination of alpha numeric and symbol? I doubt that is the point of entry. Downtime are ignored most of the time if no complains are made. Apparently they only have the "firewall to blame every time something goes wrong". I found a cheaper and more secure hosting company.
I have been with 3ix for more than 3 years now. Undoubtedly they provide the cheapest service on whole wide www, but that does not mean a customer has agreed to compromise on the quality.Past few months have been really painful with constant downtimes.
These people are unbelievable. Our club site has been down more in the last month than up. I have had many many emails from members saying the site is down. Put in a trouble ticket yesterday morning and got a message back in about 3 hours saying that it was fixed and gave me new login info. It stayed up about an hour. After updating the ticket saying it was down again I received another email that the server had problems and that they were working on it. Still not up. Maybe they will leave the website intact. Last time this happened the deleted everything. Moving to a new host as I type.
I have had numerous TERRIBLE encounters with 3ix.org. Today was the last straw. I’m going to move all my 30+ siteS to a parking service until I can move to another host. I don’t care if I have to rebuild them all, it’s worth it.
Their Sale staff/Technical staff is full of smart ass immature kids that have now clue of how to run a business. When I ask how long I had remaining on my hosting, their first reply was. You can’t have a refund. The conversation went more down hill from there.
I’ve had my website(s) down for days and customer unable to access my products. When ask it’s the same old answer “It will be up in a few hours”. NOT RELIABLE 99% IS 100% BS

Don’t use these unprofessional idiots, they are the absolutely the worst. I have never written a bad report on any online company in my life but they have brought me to this.
DO NOT HOST HERE. Absolutely awful support.Unless it's a wee simple question you have, don't bother asking because they don't know how to answer it. The "Live Chat" is a waste of time - it's all done to script, and the only response they give when you ask for an update on your problem is 'the admins are working on it'. They know nothing. Been without email for over 11 hours now because one of their online support folk "did something" to my mx record and "it was wrong" and now "admins are working on it".
I don't believe they even employ server admins, just poorly paid call centre workers in 3rd world countries. Who have to say their name is "Susan" or "Jane".
i sincerely recommend not to run your site with 3ix.... is because your site only run 10 hrs per day....
i guess about the testimonials on the site are written by themselve. no joke.. it's better to use a free hosting. when google search engine db new generate a result for your site title is blank..... how many users will come through..... bad host
Please stay away from these people. Just has the terrible experience with 3iX. I bought cs-cart and was not able to run all the functions. Already informed 3iX team about the issue. They keep on saying that the problem is with cs-cart. They wanted to fix it dragged the issue for 3 weeks and when 30 days money back guarantee expired then they still says problem is with cs-cart and no money back. I moved to another host and in less then 15 min. I was ready and all the functions work perfectly. Email 3iX team so many times, no reply. Overall service is terrible.

The downtime was awful during the year I used their services.
The support is ..... a lie, a joke. they're lying always, don't know their job, don't answer to the questions.
I moved to an another hosting company and fighting to transfert my domain name, they don't let it go.
This host sucks. Site is offline multiple times in only 2 weeks. 99% uptime is a lie. Tech support is rude and incompetent. If you want CHEAP get this, but if you are going to do business, what's the point in saving 3$ a month when you will potentially miss out on sales worth a lot more?

I am hosting two websites with hosting comapny - http://www.3ix.org
They provide hosting for as low as $1 per month and this was the reason I thought to host with them just like thousands of other users who have hosted with
them.
I was stunned to see that my domains hosted with them has doorway subdomains with adverisements and malware.
I checked my cpanel and amazingly there were actually no sub domains in cpanel.
Those subdomains were actually created secretly through DNS entries by 3ix.org so that they can serve advertisements and malwares without being caught by
HOSTING USERS.
So I did a Reverse DNS lookup and found that all domains hosted by them are suffering from the same issue.
They are cheating their users and now all the sites hosted with them are in danger as this will be considered as spam by Search engines and all sites can be
banned anytime.
I would strictly advice to stay away from this web hosting company.

I've three accounts with 3iX. Problems are
1) One of the sites had over a hundred spam subdomains - you'll come to know only if you do google search for 'site:'. I wrote to them, and in a day the subdomains resulted in error and did not open malicious sites.
2) All three sites repeatedly get hacked by trojans. You'll come to know this only if you have a licensed anti-virus installed on your pc- it'll prevent you from opening the site. Solution is to use a strong auto-generated 24 character password; I'm safe since last three months after I started using a strong password.
3) Sites are often down; I use a site monitoring tool, and sometimes my site has been down for as long as 47 minutes. I wrote to them, and thankfully they agreed that it was due to 'upstream' problem. I guess it is a continuous problem, as my site still get down for several minutes.
4) The site response time is sometimes very high. Over a one week period with a ping every fifteen minutes, the minimum was 431 ms and maximum was 24024 ms, averaging 1731 miliseconds. I have another account with hostgator, which averages only 231 miliseconds. I've written several times to them on this, but get a standard reply 'It's working now'.
My conclusion is that 3iX is not a bad choice if you are a small or medium company and your site is your product or service related, main reason being the low cost. If it is a complex site like say a database driven, or you want to set up once and forget about maintenance of your site, don't got for 3iX.
Bots took control of my domain, generated dozens of spam subdomains resulting in a google ban. No help from support, poor server administration, lots ofdowntime... I guess you get what you pay for... cheap..
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Worst support ever. Not to mention they will suspend without notice and delete your data. You would have to be the a major idiot to go with them.
Initially hosted 3 sites with them. All went OK but regularly noticed downtime and also had e-mail connection issues. A couple of months ago all my sites were taken over repeatedly by viruses and trojans, and it took them weeks to fix it. Stupidly hosted a fourth site with them, and this just disappeared one day: no notification. They eventually told me that my site had been taken down because of a complaint from SpamCop, on the grounds that spam was being sent from the site. The site had no scripts and no e-mail set up so any spam being sent was clearly down to their own lack of security, but they wanted $60 to investigate! If they do ever reply to e-mails they use Martian (I think: it is certainly not English). Please learn from my experience and avoid this company like the plague.
stay clear. they are holding on to my domain when i have requested more than 5 times that i want to transfer my domain, to a new registrar. they are un-operative, and don't reply your emails when it's a real emergency.
they are the admin contact for your whois data for the domain YOU own, so they are able to "deny" transfer requests for no reason (coz they want you to perpetually renew your domain and hosting plan with them, that's what!).
unscrupulous and unethical. don't be enticed by the low prices, because the trouble that you get is not worth it. save yourself time and unnecessary stress by paying more, for a more reliable host.
I am paying for a hosting account which I no longer needed. Ive terminated the account more than a year ago and they are charging me twice (which is last year and this year) for an account which no longer exist. Probably, the system arent updated for yonks or probably the billing department is still sleeping or something. This is purely a crap. No refunds were made for both charges. If this thing arnt stopped, I'd be paying for the hosting for the rest of my life!
Paypal has reviewed the case and no updates were given. This is the 2nd time Paypal is cancelling the account (which supposed to be cancelled sometime ago).
Well, I guess i should avoid 3ix and paypal as well.
I was hosted by these clowns for 8 months and I am so glad to be clear of them, they were very unhelpful towards me and I am sorry I ever signed into their dirt cheap package.
You only get what you pay for and I paid hardly anything and got virtually nothing back in return.
Signed up for the Excel plan ($44/year, 5 GB storage, cPanel, ClickBe, Fantastico, etc.) They were nice and responsive prior to my purchase.
Trouble started right after signing up: ClickBe didn't work. Asked them to fix it. They made a number of attempts, and did not get it to work most of the time. They downgraded my subscription to Excite level in the process and lost my two mailing lists. I then told them I wanted a refund (they offer a 30-day refund) and stated my reasons. According to support, I have an open ticket with admins regarding the refund, but they did not get back to me in this matter in the past 5 days. The story is documented here (still hosted by them :-)
