Excellent hosting company. Support is always very quick to respond within minutes of sending an email. Not the cheapest but I got burnt once when my super cheap hosting shutdown a month after renewing my account for a year. The level of support is worth paying for.
I now have several sites hosted by them.
One small complaint is the lack of shell access on the cheaper accounts. It would make doing some things much easier.
Highly recommend this company.

Just like the first reviewer, BlackSun rescued my business from the infamous dotCanada meltdown. Being a Canadian hoster, BlackSun even sends me referrals for web design work in Canada.
Excellent, same-day customer service with professional attitude. They will help you until the problems are solved.
The only con is its price and the limited number of MySQL database they offer for the entry level plan (Crescent). Other than that, BlackSun has been the best host I've used so far. |

I recently moved several accounts to this Canadian company and I have been very pleased, right from the start.
They provided great support during the transfer of the accounts. The pricing was reasonable for my needs and they even provided a special reduced hosting rate for the not-for-profit organizations I deal with.
Their support team has been very pleasant and helpful to deal with, both by phone and email. Their email support has been "same-day" service.
They have their own specific control panel, which took a bit of getting used to, but any questions I submit are quickly and efficiently answered.
In terms of the overall package I would absolutely recommend this hosting company. In fact, the web designer I use has moved all of his clients to this host.
