I moved to Cirtex after I found that my online business was failing because of too much down time with my last host. I was amazed at the cost and so much value for money at Cirtex.
Just wanted to add my two cents about Cirtex hosting and the overall experience. I can recommend them as a pretty good host. I'm paying for shared hosting and their download times are a lot faster than what i've experienced elsewhere. I have needed little support save for when I first signed up and that went flawlessly so overall its good hosting for the buck.
www.cirtexhosting.com has THE SLOWEST FFPMEG SERVERS EVER!. your website will keep on timing out when visitors attempt to access it. Believe it or not some times average web page load up time is 14 seconds, that is if it does not time out. Do not bother hosting your ffmpeg site with cirtex Hosting. They have over sold themselves with their cheap FFMPEG hosting plans and have failed to upgrade their servers to match demand. If you contact Customer service and complain about slowness, they will tell you that you signed up for shared Hosting. Such that some other website on your shared hosting is hogging resources. They then tell you that if you want faster, you must upgrade to dedicated server. Their Money Back Guarantee is worthless, it appears that after the 30 days of you signing up, then they transfer you to different over sold out servers. Note that if you check with domain tools, you will find that your website is sometimes sharing a server with over 600 other websites. And what is so annoying is that some of those websites are Video advert for income websites. Also when you try to send bulk mail to your members of your site, Your Messages either get rejeceted or will always go as SPAM> The reason being, that other websites sharing your server and having same IP address have been tagged as SPAM Sending websites. SO DO NOT HOST WITH CIRTEX HOSTING THEY ARE SCAM!
Started hosting with cirtex for about a two years ago, after one more fail of past host. Was looking for the company I could trust, and the deep scanning of the market brought me to the cirtexhosting.com which made good impression right after being looked up.
Chosen them prior to the other five candidates and now after two years I believe I was not mistaken. The company provides professional service with excellently high uptime and the support is very usable and professionally held.
The features and performance they give make them really productive and attractive host and everything that is promised is provided in the full volume.
Using the reseller account from cirtexhosting for already two years. Currently am very pleased with the service I receive, and the amount of clients and business growth tempos are confirming the good dealing status.
The company gives just an excellent plans and supports its performance on always-on-top level.
Surely nothing is really ideal, and even here there appeared some speed lowdowns, but considering I am located mostly in Europe, while the servers are somewhere in the NY, the quality allows to named this company professional.
Migrated my Joomla site. The UID that the web server runs under was different than my FTP user causing Joomla to not run. Cirtex NEVER answer the phone. The email support was useless, they kept coming back with some generic response that never fixed my problem. I have been trying to get a refund for over a week now with no luck. Shady company, stay away, bad news all around. I'm happy to update this review if they would honer their 30day money back guarantee.
Looked like a good company, good pricing, had a coupon code too so I signed up! Regretting it now.
My site usually goes down 3-4 time a day, a lot of "The connection has timed out" responses.
Cpanel is the same thing, goes down all the time. Took almost 2 weeks for Awstats to start working correctly.
As I write this my site is down again! I've never had so many problems before with my other hosing companies. It's so frustrating when I can't get any work done!
Guess I should have done more research before I signed up to this company. Don't make the same mistake I did!
I've been hosted with Cirtex for the passed year and three months almost. I'm still with them, too.
Customer Support: Not the absolute best, but they reply very quickly. I love that they have an online chat right on their website for quick responses and help. I've used this feature several times (I'm paranoid and every little tiny thing that happens I run for help).
Their email / ticket support takes around an hour or a little more, but they do get to you fairly quickly.
Sometimes when you open a support ticket they might not really answer your problem completely. If you describe a problem or you have questions you might get that one employee that responds vaguely. But usually it works out quite well for me.
Pricing: I can't complain about their pricing. I'm using the Economy plan (second most expensive) and it's $10 a month. I can completely live with that. And just for three dollars more a month I could get 1000mb more space and 500gb more bandwidth. But I'm just being cheap, haha.
Reliability: My account went down once for about half a day when they were transferring all the data from my server onto a newer server.
Once every few months you'll notice they're doing MySQL maintenance because you'll get related errors for about an hour or two.
Overall: I really recommend them. I love them and I'm pleased!
Cirtex Hosting is a rather new company being 3 years old. I signed up hosting with mysitesonline in August of 2005 and sometime after the first of this year 2006 was bought out by Cirtex Hosting. I have not had a major issue with them so far. Quick responce with the support tickets and the uptime has been really good. Good host packages for the price with lots of goodies. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home for their web site..
The Good:
Flexible services, including SSH access and Fantastico and CPanel.
The Bad:
Poor reliability; support is often slow to respond; encrypted mail server connections works poorly/not at all (no encrypted SMTP, and the POP server certificate is invalid but Cirtex support won't fix it).
Glad I signed up with CirtexHosting. Great service for the past years, good uptime and fast servers with good features at a reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend Cirtex to others.
