well... now it's offline... i have no hosting and i lost $80
Well, I`m sorry I fell for the pretty email they send. It seems that I lost my money since I paid via Paypal and Paypal refuses to do a refunding job.
After a little campaigning of emailing they suspended my site and never, ever answered my complaining emails. Now the webpage of the company even doesn't appear. It seems they shut down. Let's hope they don't rip of any other person any more...
Absolutley awful! DO NOT host with these retards! My ratings are only 1 because there wasn't an option of 0!
They send you all your details in broken english and do not reply to any emails you send to them! I have therefore taken the decision to withdraw payment to them through my credit card and to host with another web hosting company. Through this other web hosting company I will be spamming digital vision hosting with 10,000 emails a day until they hand over the domain that I paid for but has been registered to some Japanese prick!
It seems to get what you pay for, in the negative sense. It is cheap and very unreliable.
So far this month (June 2007), my sites have been unavailable on over 15 occasions. Right now they are unavailable, and have been for the last 5 days, without any word from them!
They do not always respond to support, and the responses are often unhelpful or dismissive, indicating that that customer satisfaction is a low priority to them.
As a result, I have had to move to another host as the level of downtime was compromising my work.
Having done some research, I find that others have had similar (perhaps worse) experiences.
My conclusions:
1. My mistake for choosing them and giving them my money. I should have done some checking into their operation first (a lesson there for everyone).
2. It is arguable that they are taking money under false pretences which basically amounts to fraud. The authorities should investigate their operation to see what actions should be taken.
It's the WORST server, their support site is useless the answer you in a bad manner. Never answer the email you send the about sales or billing.
I transfered one of my sites to them and it never even worked and even told me that i did not uploaded right like if i was a first time user (6years experience)
This is actually a response I got from their support team:
"your will not get a refund as you agreed to our TOS and you will learn support means for our servers, you mailing here taking your frustrations out because you simply cant upload your own site what is your own responsibility"
Their site is always down and impossible to get to your own control panel. Their support site sucks and their team don't even have manners.
Now I lost 47.95 because i made the mistake of signing up with them
Prices are great, plans too. But customers support is nule, useless, they never answer and if they do, is in a bad way and don„t solve your problems.And sure will have problems, signing proccess is bad designed and you will get no response form them to let you know if your host is active or is not. No Cpnale to manage your domains, so you can not change DNS to other place, and guess what..they wont do that for you. Catched by the great prices, I did the stupid thing of renew my plan with them and also bought a new One! This happened one week ago. After 10 mail and tickets still have no a replay to activate my account. You can contact me I„ll testify against this people whenever you want. An dof course there„s no return policy, so practicaly I got rip off. PLEASE DON„T DEAL WITH DIGITALVISION! go somewhere else.
I disagree i have been with digitalvisionhosting now for over 12 months, and never had a problem iam on there reseller plan using a Pentium4 2.4Ghz thru 3.0Ghz Processors

I notice that the last review says the servers are "quite". I assume this is a mis spelling of quiet. Only the webhost would know if the servers are quiet, and they will be the only ones who care. The 2 reviews saying they are good remind me of the way the insulting emails i got from them are worded. The only use for DVH is a remote file storage that you dont need to have constant accss to. The server (1.6 GHZ P4) is slow and overloaded. It is in secure as a script I was working on on my development server managed to get access to system files when I uploaded it for people to check the interface (I was expecting errors). They should be perminantly shut down and arrested for false advertising (server specs are no where near what they say they have) and fraud (took my money without asking or telling me it was up for renewl, then told me to go and learn to read). I would rate them 0 out of 5 for all criteria.

Unfortunely I bought 2 servers from them...and they„re down! I went to the company website and guess what??? it„s down too!!!! What can I do, I„m in a big trouble, because they gave me the domains for buy the hosting and now I can„t redirect those domains to a new servers..
I can believe there„re noone out there to help customers with these fake companies ripping off people everywhere..!!
Like an idiot i signed up 3 domain names in one hit big mistake,my sites are down on a regular basis they wont answer emails and as i type this all of my sites have been down for 10 hours, so stay clear of this hosting company they are nothing but trouble.what i would like to know is is it possible to transfer my domain names to another server from digitalvision i have been told this is impossible can anyone help.
DIGITAL VISION HOSTING has to be the worst hosting company on the web today. I have used free hosts that rank higher than DIGITAL VISION HOSTING. The server is always down and non-responsive, can't retrive emails,or your site opens with funny symbols that not even the programers can figure out what they are. I am runing a storefront from DIGITAL VISION HOSTING and uptime is everything to me. Had I known about DIGITAL VISION HOSTING and their bad servers, I would never signed with them. It has been a tottal nightmare dealing with DIGITAL VISION HOSTING. as if that is all I have to do with my time. Even when emailed, they never respond. They are not a USA company so I don't think they care much about the customer. Noy that that matters. I'm sure there are non-US based companies out there who do take pride in themselves. DIGITAL VISION HOSTING is not one of those companies, STAY AWAY from DIGITAL VISION HOSTING. You have been warned. heavenly
It is a bad host. They scorn the customers. They are haughty and make fun of the problems, they are kids in their job.the servers are often broken down.

I have been using Digitalvisionhosting for around a year now, and i would like to say thay are a great host and have been very helpful too me, with instalation of scripts, there fee are very cheap and i have never had my site go offline overall a great host to do business with
While being very cheap and having an excellent control panel, digital vision hosting fails miserably... My site is offline about 50% of the time and there was a period there where it was offline for about a month. Customer service is virtually non-existent.
I had one problem with the host which was wit hthe pre installer for phpbb it just wouldnt make the mysql databases, i emailed the customer support and within 6 hours they had it fixed for me, they was very helpful and kind.
