Earthlink is reliable. I had no downtime. But Earthlink does not live up to their claims.
I wanted to add some perl scripts to my site. I followed every single one of their recommendations and still cant run a two (2) line perl script. I used the FTP they recommended changed the code the way they cleimed it had to be and Earthlink still cant run perl.
I just cancelled my account and will move to a site why I can expend my site as I originally planned.
Earthlinks support stuff just assumes that whatever your problem is it is your fault. |

Pros: Almost never down in many years.
Cons: Tech support is out of USA, can not understand problems, can not resolve issues
No mysql and php configured oddly.
Very expensive (29/month for me)
