Don't bother with them.
horrible uptime, its just a one man show, some guy named amit paetel in indianapolis. he automatically renewed my hosting for a year and billed my paypal account for it. he was unwilling to cancel my account and give back even a pro-rated amount. instead he just quit answering me.
no business ethics.
hosting was good when i got it, but the people who started it sold it to him. |

Ughh... what a nightmare!!
I registered with EdgeWebHost because I saw other domains hosted by them , the prices weren't bad, and they seemed reliable. Boy, was I wrong!
I registered with them and paid. I recieved a confirmation of my order, but did not recieve any account information. So, I slept on it. I didn't recieve a response from them all the next day - I tried emailing them, filling out the form on their website, and iming their "live support" on AIM. No response.
Dissatisfied, I filed a dispute with PayPal. Only then (at 11:30PM) did they respond! They were very unhelpful and did not refund my money. They argued with me that I recieved this information (hello, I told them that I didn't!) Then, they decided that they were going to send me my account information. But apparently, Amit Patel (who I found out is the webmaster) is a grade A moron and sent me the information, password and all, to someone else's account!! He claimed that I had registered with another name (despite clearly telling him the name I registered as). The emails I recieved also were strewn with grammatical erros - I am not sure if my arguments with this person stemmed from a problem with his ability to speak the English language, or if he was just slow.
After much back-and-forth, they have finally agreed to give me a refund. I'm just waiting for them to do this via PayPal.
do NOT use this host!! They have shown me that they will tell others your private information! And, if your case is like mine, your account won't even get set up. |
