My site was often down.
Even I did not change anything on my CGI, one day it suddenly started making erros. I tested same CGI on my local, and I did not have any problems. I put same CGI on other servers at other hosting services. It worked without any problems. I submitted trouble ticket to get help, the support wrote me back that they would work on it. Later on I did not get any answer and the trouble had never been solved.
I changed my hosting service to other one. Before I would be charged another year fee by Existhosting, I tried to contact Exist hosting to cancel my account.
I sent message through their supposedly "24 hours" chatting support that was offline for a month (or more?), and never got a answer.
I sent e-mail to billing department twice, my e-mails came back to me without being delivered.
During this time, they charged full amount of 1 year fee on my credit card.
I submitted a trouble ticket. They did not answer to me more than a week.
I called them and left message, of course, they did not call me back.
When I called them again, their voice mail was full and I could not even leave a message.
I decided to post my message on their Forum. My message was deleted on the next day.
I, again, posted a message on the Forum. It was deleted on the same day.
But still, I did not get any answer on my cancellation from them.
I put one more message on the same trouble ticket that I had already issued and was waiting for an answer.
Finally, I got an answer, and it said:

You need to put a ticket in your hsphere to request your cancellation.

They did not say anything about my credit charge. Even though I have already asked them to cancel my account with the ticket, they still asked me put a ticket.
Their customer service is horrible.
DO NOT GO with them, Never, Ever.

Worst customer suport. never answer the phone or the "live" chat on their website. more then 48 hours for support via email. |

Inspite of their excellent HSPHERE control panel and great performance (among the fastest I have seen), their support sucked big-time. It was from being "sometimes there" to practically non-existent.
Had to ultimately leave EXIST host because they never got a simple thing such as FrontPage extenstions working on my account. They kept making some excuses, and refused to give any of my money back.
Pity, cause I really enjoyed HSPHERE, it is truly a notch above anything else.
