I have nothing but good reviews for Sascha and the crew. I get instant answers for most everything and they have handled every problem quickly and professionally. After going thru a week long political mess with Network Solutions on another site (I don't own) I much prefer the personal support from EZOSHosting.com.
EZOSHosting has provided good service in the past, but they seem to have dropped off the face of the Earth. After sending a support ticket on March 14, 2007, I heard from Sascha Endlicher on March 15 that he had "just got in from an intercontinental flight to Austin" and didn't know what was going on. Later that day, he told me the server was freezing and they were going to swap the hardware. That's the last I heard, and their website and support are completely down.
This is very disappointing and will entail a great deal of inconvenience if I have to move to another host. A week ago, I would have highly recommended EZOSHosting to anyone who asked, but the last few days have shown them to be completely unreliable and poorly maintained.
Same as many of these comments ... inconsistent ... sometimes, super duper helpful ... other times ... even with the same tech ... rude, lazy and disinterested.
As long as you have money to burn and no support issues this host would be OK.
However, compared to other companies they are way, way overpriced for the packages and features they offer. Tech support is haphazard at best and tends to be patronizing and condescending. Server uptime and reliability has recently become a major issue.
I have used them since 03, A fellow geek recommended them to me. I have used them for many sites. (theopenstore.net). No matter what the problem, or what time the problem, Sascha takes care of us. I tried someone else once, and was horribly upset. I doubt I will ever use anyone other than ezoshosting for a long time.
They seem to have only 1 support person. I am not kidding. Whatever type of request you send to their ticketing system, it is always replied by the same person named "Sascha Endlicher". I think this is ridicilous for any kind of support. "Sascha Endlicher" is representing all layers of support, Layer-1, Layer-2, Layer-3. "Sascha Endlicher" the superman or the supergirl at EzosHosting HelpDesk!
Okay, recommended by a friend I thought these guys would be great, as well helpful. Which they were at first. But in recent events the DOWNTIME has been HORRIBLE. Every other day I am experiencing through several of my sites wicked bad downtime. This can happen but not this often. There customer service sucks, as well you never speak to a live person. Just 'Sascha' and her nice email of 'Who let the dogs out'. It bothers me to see this go down in shambles. I saw another review on here that said they were great, this maybe so in the past but not the case now. I just signed with RealWebHost, my expectations are high. Don't choose these if you are running a business.
I have 2 sites, 1and1.com (xprizenews.org), and one at ezoshosting, ezoshosting offers more databases and a very good uptime.
Their support is very good, with direct chat capability, forum and ticket system.
While their main site isn't offering a lot, the features in their control panel are very good.
