I signed up with this hosting company over 2 years ago, back then it was billed as Prolink Hosting. You get what you pay for. I believe mine was an unlimited account. Immediately started having problems, not able to connect to FTP. The site was unbelievably slow. The woman who was setting up my store for me had never seen such a horrible webhost, I had contacted them multiple times regarding the problems I was having. Nothing. So, I requested their refund. Guaranteed. I was well within my time limit. Nothing. So, I filed a Paypal dispute. Just about immediately, I got my refund, and a nasty letter about how nobody has problems with their services.
The next year I have this charge come out of my Paypal account. It is from eBMH Inc. After doing some research, turns out that even though I had canceled my account with Prolink hosting, they were now billing under this, and my subscription wasn't canceled. Paypal wouldn't give me back my money, I assume based on my own stupidity for not canceling the subscription. So, I did.
Now, I get a bill from Fat Network. I had to research again to see that this is Prolink hosting, eBMH INC, masquerading under yet ANOTHER name. They will interrupt my service if I don't pay my bill, since I got smart and canceled the subscription. Exactly what service are they going to interrupt? I pay my UCWebhost bill. That's who my webhosting is with and my domain is through GoDaddy.
Fat Network you are nothing but a Fat webhosting scam. You won't be getting any more of my money, and I will be posting this review on all the web hosting review sites so people know that your service stinks and you bill for services NOT rendered.
I had a reseller account with them for 5 years. At first the customer service was very responsive, but it has gone downhill the past few years. They would often send a quick response and always closed tickets after their initial evaluation. They would never actually look into the issues of which there were many.
They have frequent downtime and forced server moves where my clients were without access to email and lost email traffic. After many moves the server settings would be different and many things would no longer work.
Recently my server had issues where every account was no longer displaying its own files, but the files of another account on the box. I lost a number of clients over that one. It was enough that I moved everyone off and closed up shop as I only had a few clients in the first place.
I had to let them go couple of years ago because of continuing down time and clumsy support service, and I can't kept this up. I do not recommend to others to sign up.
Fat Networks say they lost all my customers accounts and have costed me thousands and thousands of dollars. They told me they were not willing to do anything about it and that they lost all my data and would not provide any refunds. Rick told me literally I would not be provided any further assistance. I would be very interested in a others who have been through this abuse, neglect and fraud to start a class action law suit.
Great vendor! Very responsive to any issue I have ever submitted. Fast too. Most incidents are handled and corrected within 1 hour. The cost is also VERY reasonable. I have delt with at least 4 host/reseller providers in the past and Fat Network Inc. beats them all.
I am totally impressed with Fat Networks, I have come from another hosting company who charged me almost 2x what they are with less support. Everytime I have had a problem, question or issue they have stepped up quickly to assist me. My first experience buying was very pleasent, and it continued from there.
I was switched to Fat Network from u40.com in the last 5 months and my domain was up for renewal in April which I renewed for $13.20/yr. I redone my website and uploaded it in May and maybe 3 weeks later or so - don't know exact date - I go to visit my website and it says domain has been suspended and to email billing@fatnetwork.com which I did. Did not get a response as to why my domain is suspended put in two tickets still no response and lately called customer service only to be encountered by their automated message system to leave a detailed message and email address. I plan to report them to get my money back!
Fat Network features 'Shared SSL' as a free service. Come to find out, they want you to buy a dedicated IP address for $98.00.
Company also advertises on eBay feturing unlimited bandwidth and storeage. Needless to say, their server speed is not acceptable.
Very unprofessional, unreliable servers, suspend account at their own will with no notificaion. Horrible customer service.
Friendly until you purchase an account!
They are a great company. I have had them for about a month so far and I have loved it! They respond to help tickets in about 15-20min sometimes even 5! I have them right now for a reseller plan, they are reliable enough to trust.
