I've been using Freedom Host (www.freedomhost.net) for about five months now and have been very happy with their service. Being a smaller webhosting company, the service has been beyond excellent. The few questions I’ve had were quickly answered over AOL IM or email. I’ve only experienced a minimum amount of downtime, less than an hour over the five month period. Furthermore, I pay on a month-to-month basis over Paypal, so I'm not locked into them long term.
