Verdict :
Very reliable service over the last 10 years. I host multiple websites for clients and never have any issues. Support is good, but you won' t use it much! Domain allocation, registration, and discounting is quick, easy to configure and relatively cheap. Bottom line is, I can only find one issue, it would be nice if it was cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Thanks Freeola.
I have been with Freeola for over five years and have had nothing but a good experience. When I have had issues (which were hardware based and not their problem) they couldn't have been more helpful in getting me going again. My websites (I have several) have never gone offline to my knowledge and I check them all regularly. Price wise, not the cheapest, but as in all walks of life, you get what you pay for.
Have used Freeola to host my site and as my ISP for over 4 years now and in that time I have had very few problems to speak of.
Their servers have been extremely reliable and fast, bandwidth is always high, connection speed is always fast. And you cannot beat the standard features they offer such as the free unlimited webspace, and their membership discounts on new domain names etc.
I guess the area where I might have a slight complaint is in their technical support. It can be difficult somtimes to get through, although when you finally do the Freeola staff are always friendly and knowledgeable... Highly recommended.
I have used Freeola for years and have hosted about a dozen sites with them at various times. I have never had webspace or bandwidth issues, and overall server uptime has been better than other hosts I've used, as has server speed. Server side scripts etc usually run without probs, and they keep their PHP and MySQL versions reasonably up to date.
Tech support is generally good, and you can get telephone support well into the evening at standard call rates.
For free hosting I have to say they have delivered consistently and reliably. I will continue to use and recommend them.
I have been an ADSL customer for a while and have used the free webspace from time to time (and I previosuly worked in the support department for this company).
Overall for what you get its very good, this company has 10 very powerful web servers just for hosting of the websites of the customers and very experienced staff.
Unfortunatly when something goes wrong it can take a while to get through to support although it has recently improved dramatically due to a very small team.
Domains used to be a pain but since the arrival of DNS management, transfer and easier online renewals you can do everything online instead of using the old manual process.
Unfortunatly many people are caught out by the claim of free webhosting but when you consider you can get an ISP connection for around about the same price as most over ISP's (and overall the ADSL is fantastic value for the level of service)
The host is very dependable. I always have gotten the support I needed whenever I had problems. This was the first time I had used this host, and I would definitely recomment it. Very dependable and very reliable.
Freeola offers extremely reliable hostng. You do have to dial up to their service in order to upload data to your website. but they offer services which just can't be beaten, you get unlimeted space, unlimeted bandwidth, in-fact you get unlimeted everything. check them out.
