I have been with Holdfire for over a year with multiple hosting accounts/websites. Their service is great and really reliable. Their servers also kept up really well, especially on a couple of sites where I have multiple scripts running ( blog, forum, photo gallery ). Holdfire also notifies you if their is any downtime which is great! Customer service is also really good, all my support tickets have been answered quickly and fixed my problems fast. I have not had a single problem with Holdfire for the past year unlike my previous web hosting providers.
I was with this host for a little over 4 months, and I paid accordingly and did what I was told. Well unfortunatly I had to cancel so I sent a support ticket and I was told that my account would be canceled within a month! Well that month passed and now I've been recieving invoices claiming I still owe money. I explained to them that I had asked for cancellation and at the time I was told it was done, now I get informed that they never recieved my cancellation request, WTF!. I'm very upset and I don't recommend this host to anyone, if you cancel they won't cancel you and they don't refund you. They don't care about anything but having their money. Please, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM HOLDFIRE!
Signed up with these guys when my other host had to close up shop. On a reseller account I had to get all of my site moved over. After a week they managed to get 2 out of 4 sites up and running. Sent them an email letting them know 2 were good the others not. Several days later still nothing. So I tried another host who managed to get my sites transferred and up within 24 hours. As my other host was going down I needed a replacement fast.
Went and put in a request to cancel and refund. As per their policy you have 30 days to do so. I got a pissy & defensive reply email and told me to go through their website to do the refund. Two months later still no refund and they won't respond to emails.
Price was decent, service was ok (had some slowtimes in the early hours) customer service not so good.
After my horrible experience with my first host, I began searching around for others. I looked at the big name companies as well as a few resellers and I must admit, hands down, that Holdfire is the best choice that I have made.
Although it is mostly run by one person, she has done a great job dealing with clients' needs and wishes. Everything is done in a timely, professional manner. The website is easy to navigate, including the clients' area. Ordering is a cinch and the prices are amazing, especially when you take in the quality of this host.
I assure you that you will not be disappointed with Holdfire. It is definitely one of the best hosts out there with great service and affordable prices.
I have been building websites for about 7-8 years now, and I have been hosted through numerous companies in the past. Most of them were priced decently, most had pretty good customer service, and I really did not have any issues with any of them except for my last host. I won't mention their name here, but I will tell you that my decision to leave them was based on one sole reason: customer service. Their prices were not bad, but not as good as other companies. Their customer service however was very poor. I always felt like I was being ignored when I needed help, and I was constantly penalized for having "defaulted" on my payment because they chose to wait 2-3+ weeks before depositing my check. When I confronted them on this, on one particular occasion they told me this was my own fault.
Once I left, I made a decision to move to Holdfire Network. A friend of mine had briefly mentioned them in a conversation and I decided to check them out. Their prices seemed very reasonable, and their website looked very professional. I decided that I would sign up with them, and told myself if I was unhappy I could always leave.
I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with their service. Holdfire Network has been extremely nice and informative during the entire process of switching all of my data over onto their servers. They have done everything they can to expedite the process, and have even gone out of their way to help me with a few issues that still remained with my prior host. Rarely do I have the opportunity to deal (online or offline) with a company like this. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about switching hosts and is unsure of whom to choose. Holdfire Network has and continues to impress me in all that they do, and I don't see myself with any other company.
Holdfire Network has been a great host for the month that I've had them, and I foresee a great future with them. I have the 8GB space and 80GB bandwidth professional package with them, and I certainly use all my of space/bandwidth without any complaint. This really is a reliable host. Support is top-notch with quick replies to any question/problem I've had, which have been very few. This host is reliable and a great pick for small and large sites alike.
Holdfire Web Hosting has been a breath of fresh air after my last host had overloaded servers and bad throughput to my site. Holdfire has had my current site up sans issues for the past 3 weeks. Any support that I needed, which was for a plan upgrade, was handled professionally and quickly by their support staff. I have the 8GB/80GB for 100 per year plan, and I recommend this host to anyone looking for a great plan with support and reliability that is hard to beat.
