They will not refund your money in case you cancel your account. They don't care about you, they don't care about your site. All they want it's your money. Zero support, they don't answer emails.

Thay don't honor their "risk free no questions asked 30 day money back guarantee". It's a lie. They will never, ever send your money back. Run away, there are lots of honorable host out there. Not these.
I have been using HostIcan.com for several weeks now. The servers are fast and the support is good. Their site builder is also a great addition, without this people like me with any prior web hosting expertise wouldn't have a clue what we were doing. I would seriously recommend HostIcan.com to anyone serious about building a website.

HostICan has really sharpened up. They are a really great company, I've been with them for a bit. They had a rough time, but In November/December 2009 and now when you call, you get someone its always different and their very polite.
I ALWAYS get my questions answered now, and quickly too, not more then 15 - 20 mins tops. Great guys!
Initially support was good and reliability was fair. Unlimited bandwidth and adult-ok hosting for a great price,
BUT...
6 weeks ago they nixed catch-all email fwding and didn't alert me. This affected me greatly, as I use random email addresses for transactional emails, so paypal and amazon and newegg have all been bouncing for 6 weeks.
Called no fewer than 20 times to get this resolved. the first 6, they answered and claimed to be working on it. after that, they just never answered.
I signed up for Hostican's VPS plan 1, Everything was smooth and support was good. However my VPS account itself was very very slow. Cpanel took a few minutes to load. I have VPS hosting with other company on a machine with a lot less power and hostican's machines where slow and oversold big time.
I order the tera host plan, initially all was working perfect php5/pear/mysql, My first issue was with ssh access, I was told by chat before ordering that i could have it but after just placing the order i was told that SSH wast not included that i had to pay more if i wanted to have access to it.
The problems started when a day suddenly my sites stop working, i got this error:
php: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
also pear was not working properly, i contact the support team and their answer was this . "libcurl and pear is only available on VPS hosting plans"
libcurl and pear where working perfect on my site but what i notice is that maybe they where pushing me to cancel the service because their servers could not support the load of my sites.
DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE, DON'T TRUST HOSTICAN.
DO NOT GO TO HOSTICAN YOU WILL :
Have downtime headaches.
Never get tech-support - and when you do they will pass sarcastic comments just rub it in that you are dum and they are smart.
