I think I had a site name registered or hosted by this company some years ago, but did not renew the account and let it expire purposefully. Now, a couple of years later I am receiving credit card billing from them, $40 in Oct 2006 and $40 in Jan 2007. I've emailed them asking why I'm getting billed and received no answer. Do not do business with this company and if you do cancel your credit card, or put a hold on billing from them with your credit card company when you stop doing business with them. |

I have been using them for about 3 years. Pricing is good but they have no support and have lots of server downs (about 6-8 hours/week). I told them to cancel my account 5 or 6 months ago and then they offered me to move my site another server and told i would not have problems anymore. I accepted and had not any problem for 1 month, after that it went same. I asked them for ftp password (pass i always used began not to work) 2 weeks ago, sent them more than 10 mails and still no reply. After my site stayed down for more than 35 hours within 48 hours, i am on work to move another hosting company... They may be cheap but made me lost more money and visitors |

This is the worst host ever. I can't believe I have stayed with them so long. I call them every day for one reason or another of part of my site not working.
Send mail is often not working.
MySQL Database is always down because of too many connections. I have had them move my database several times to different database servers and the result is always the same. Dtabase is down for hours a day, every day.
I speak to the same guy every time I call. Sometimes he can barely bring himself to say hello when he answers the phone. I've been calling this support dude for a year at least once a week. He knows my voice, emails and domains well by now and still is completely unresponsive.
He'll often say to send him an email and he'll have the problem fixed shortly. Shortly in his book means if you call him 3-4 more times that day. He'll get it done by the end of the day.
IIC is terrible. I could go on for days. Avoid them like the plague |

Their service wasn't bad when I first signed up with them. Lately it has gone downhill and has plummeted within the past few days. I am constantly unable to ftp to my domain, due to a lack of space on the server error. This happens quite a bit now. I was never able to set up any MYSQL servers. The only way to get tech support is to call during their hours, and sometimes then they direct you to email them, and they still don't respond.
Now I'm getting 'cannot find server' error, this just two days after the aforementioned lack of space on server error. This is totally ridiculous.
It's a cheap host, but the service is no longer worth it, IMO.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. The only reason I gave them a 1 out of 5 if because 0 out of 5 was not an option. When I was actively using this company, my service was not consistant, support was lousy and their "customer Service" was more like customer no-service!
Sure their rates are low, but remember you get what you pay for.
I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to get the company listed below to refund unapproved charges against my credit card account. I have sent over 5 emails and talked with their "customer service"/"accounting/billing" department about these charges for over a year. Every time they say "send an email". I canceled my service with this company on August of 2003.
This blatant lack of ethics and nonexistant customer service is not apparent until you have given them your credit information. Unfortunately their web site, www.iicinternet.com, does not give any indication of the lack of ethics this company apparently has.
I'm hoping that by reporting this to you others will be spared the agony of dealing with this "company".

What you get for your money is great. But every week or two, the site is down, or the database is down, or the e-mail doesn't work. When you are trying to start a business and work hard promoting it, you hate to find out that you site has been down for hours. Some times with a customer, you get one chance, and if the site is down, you just lost someone or many people. I like that it's very cheap, but they are going to put me out of business while I'm trying to get it started. It's just not right. Sometimes they do get it going after 10 minutes, sometimes hours, I know that they try, but if something is wrong with a server, it's got to be fixed permanently, not just temporarily until the next person complains. I am highly considering changing hosts, as soon as I can find one that provides enough for the money. |
