I really enjoyed my time with Skye-Host. Downtime is pretty rare and not usually for very long. There was some time when support was slow under their old name (Netarix), but in my last 6 months with the company, after they changed things, it was very fast.
I would recommend Skye-Host to anyone looking for a professional, yet down-to-earth company. They treat me like I was a person, rather than a number or a $. My name was always mentioned in emails and the responses were always courteous and informative.
I truly did like this host, however I was unable to keep up with my site and decided to close based on personal reasons. If I were to return and need a host, this is the first place I would go. I tell all my friends to check Skye-Host before deciding on a company.
