I am very happy with the services of UCVHOST. I am with them since last 2 years and since past 1 year I have seen tremendous improvement in this company. Their support service has become excellent. They have started offering hyper-v for their windows vps , along with their existing Virtuozzo based vps. I think UCVHOST is a very promising company. The enthusiasm and zeal I see in this company is really worth appreciating. They recently also got awarded by Parallels as Emerging Region Partner of the Year. I don’t think I will ever leave this company.
This is the worst server host that i have ever seen. Their refund policy is just meant to be nothing. I have subscribe the service from UCV Host on 1st of Oct but due to the poor service and poor customer service. They simply give fake information just to delay the refund and trust me, their service is worst ever and cannot be counted on. They will simply give empty promise that this wouldn't happen in the future but things still don't get improved. Service get disconnected sooo often and the technical support is so dumb enough for not realizing it and help to restore it!
I do not know if UCV Host will simply accuse me that i am one of the unsatisfied ex employee,well i am not an ex employee and i won't be surprise why people feel shame of being one. i just don't care. I am just a seriously pissed customer and that's it. I am moving away to other better service provider.
For those people who want to subscribe service from UCV Host, don't waste your money and energy. you will end up like me, money wasted and mentally tortured!

Sir how do you know that our ex employee has been putting reviews against us just to spoil our reputation. So this clearly proves that you are one ,,, we do not have to mention it here. How do you know whats happening internally in UCVHOST. So we do not have to justify your comment here.
Well just to answer your fake comment
You say that our refund policy is worthless then we clearly state that all policies are subject to conditions. And irrespective of any policy you can always feel secured about your money if you are transacting with UCVHOST as we accept payments through PAYPAL and WORLDPAY only. And even if we deny your refund you can put a dispute on PAYPAL and or claim a charge back on WORLPAY.
For this you have 45 days to do so.
So even if we do not wish to refund your money you still can get it without our approval. Because we do not govern PAYPAL and WORLDPAY rules and policies
So please stop putting comments that we do not refund money. Because if we do not give your money PAYPAL and WORLDPAY WOULD TAKE THEM WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL TOO.
And regarding your server disconnecting, if you use your resources more than that are available on your server, it will get disconnected on its own.
Also we have launched WINDOWS HYPER-V plans for just $18 a month. You can use them to have 100% uptime (since hyper v servers have that much effciency).

their vps quality is WORTHLESS! it restarts from out of no where and NO ONE is notifying you in any way. twice a week I had a problem and could not connect or the vps restarted during night..

So how is this possible, YOU HAVE DIFFERENT NAMES FOR THE SAME COMPLAINT We need not say anything more. The same complaint with different names on different sites explains everything.

one of the worst web hosting companies ever. Nothing works. I got their unlimited hosting and found nothing works. And they refused to give me the money back.
Now they even block me.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.
You will upload something to ftp and contact them to make available over http. I can't go on and on and on about me experience.Now I just got another hosting.
if you have a web hosted with UCVhost, just check your website with https://www.yourwebsite.com , some other crapy website will come and if you contact them they will say it's not your website.
they will keep your on the chat for at least 3 hours for any simple problems. most of the times, they will say it's not included in your package.
Just don't fall for the prize, rather you send the money to some charity and do something else.

On this webhsotingjury.com (here on this site) you can check the IP displayed,, it is an IP of London while on earnforex site he says I am from France.
We mean to say THE SAME COMPLAINT WITH DIFFERENT NAMES AND THEN FROM DIFFERENT IP\'s ,,,, What does it show??? UCVHOST doesnt need to speak for itself. All these comments are from the same person who writes one text and puts on different sites using different names and different IP\'s by faking them. How can one complaint have different names. It always have to be one person complaining.
We have been seeing these acts for last 6 months that our ex-employee is posting these fraudulent reviews to harm our reputation. Readers beware as the review sites do not check the authenticity of these reviews. They just post them.

We are very sorry for any inconveniences that were caused to you due to some misunderstanding. Please provide your domain name hosted with us. You mentioned this - www.yourwebsite.com as your domain name. This is not a valid URL. Please give the correct details so that we are able to look into your matter. You mentioned your issue as, \\\"You will upload something to ftp and contact them to make available over http\\\". SIR THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE - This is not a fault at our end. You have to upload your files to the correct folder. You don’t have to tell us to make your files available over http. Our hosting plan is designed in such a way that we provide FTP accounts that are directly mapped to IIS to root folder i.e. httpdocs. So once you upload files to httpdocs folder all pages start reflecting on http and you can see it on your website. So this can never be an issue if you are hosting with UCVHOST. If you still needed help, in case you do not know how to do it, then you should have asked our support executives to help you on this. If they do not answer put a mail to grievances or at abuse@ucvhost.com. Your problem would be escalated to higher management then and immediately reverted to. Also we have a 30 day money back policy for those who are not satisfied with our services, though there are very remote chances for this. Then you can put in a ticket at support@ucvhost.com and you will get it. I can provide you screenshots of refunds sent to people on PAYPAL, if ever anybody has demanded. So please don’t be unsecured about your money, if you haven’t got it you will. Please give us your ticket number and your transaction id details so that your money is refunded. But however if you have crossed your 30 day deadline then we do not refund money as per policy. You have to put in a request before the expiry of 30 days. Please provide your details as to when you bought your server from us and when did you put in a request for a refund. It is a very remote chance that anybody has asked for a refund and we did not give it. SIR IF WE ARE READY TO RESPOND TO YOU ON A WEBSITE THAT IS NOT OURS THEN HOW CAN WE BLOCK YOU ON OUR WEBSITE. There must have been some misunderstanding at your end. Also it is our humble request to everybody reading these reviews and also to those who are putting these reviews that you please mention your transaction id details and ticket id so that we are able to look into your matter clearly so that your issue is solved immediately. I paid by credit card, I had to phone them 48 hours later as I had not got any contact re my account been ready, I checked and see they took my years hosting price from my credit card. I was informed by them that my account was closed by them and that they would refund my monies, this they have not done. I asked as to why they cancelled my account and they said there accounts department told them to do so. My site was not an adult website etc. and I was not expecting high traffic on it. I have not received my money back.
I was also charged a transaction fee, I am here in UK and the hosting fee. I had to inform my credit card company that I believe ucvhostare a fraud and only wanted all my details, I had to cancel my credit card and await a new one.
ucvhost are a fraud and are only after your credit card details.
Sir you just mentioned that you paid via credit card then in this case this is not possible that we ate up your money. In our payment system if you pay via credit card then the payment goes on hold on your card and comes to us. We then check the details on the payment and if we find any doubts about its authentication then in that case we do not accept that payment. So till we accept the payment the money doesnt come into our account. So how can you say that we fraudulently took payment from you. You need to consult the credit card company for the details since even if you have erased it , the bank still has a record of all the transactions you make. So in case of credit card payments no fraud can be made by anybody since the payment never comes to us but is on hold by the bank. Thanks
I have the baddest experience with them I paid for a three month plan I never got a confirmation email and when I contacted them I was told that the payment didn't go through. The next day however my bank charged me the amount the for their services. Since I has erased the transaction id from the bank, I only did this because they told me that the payment didn't go through, they couldn't help me! thus I paid for the server and never got the service. They are terrible avoid them at all costs.

I've used these guys for the past 5 or 6 years. For the price I can't complain. I wouldn't use them for anything critical, but for simple personal webpages and e-mail they've been fine. Any issues were quickly resolved on their live chat.
i have been these guys for over an year now and they give impeccable uptime and support , i think you are are just trying to defame them.
i have more then 80 domains hosted with ucvhost and they are all working fine for me , with great uptime and there chat support is always available willing to help , and ticket response time not more then 2-3 hrs .
also not to mention the price which is gr8 compared to other hostig companies like hostgator , i think they are are better hosting company worth more affordable pricing , i wouldn't pay $4.95 a month that nearly 60 bucks for the year compared to $12 a year here.

I have been with these guys for around 3-4 yrs and am now so sick and tired of them that I am about to move all my sites. They are liars, they have no understanding of customer support, they are technically incompetent, they are unresponsive, they have nothing to offer but problems. Yes its cheap. But its also rubbish. And in the end its just not worth it.
Now I will probably try Hostgator since review in general are reasonably good. Whatever they are like they cannot possibly be worse than ucvhost.
Sir to this all we can say is that there must be some misunderstanding at your end.

Visit UCVHOST and check for yourself. Also try chatting with them and test their knowledge. You dont have to buy anything, just visit and see the quality. This is all we have to say.

These guys got hacked by Turkish Nationalist assholes about six months ago, and have yet to fix their servers. I've e-mailed them and they've done nothing. Their live chat doesn't work. Hell, even their web site only partially works. Lots of links are dead. Avoid them like the plague.
Sir any website can get hacked on any server and that too with any host. So this is not a fault of the hosting provider, which everybody knows. And you are saying that for 6 months we did not fix anything. Sir this is not possible. Then in that case not only you but also a lot of clients would have complained,, and how can we leave things pending for so many clients.. Can we exist after that??? I dont think we can, so be reasonable and try to solve issues and not just try to spoil someone\'s reputation
Sir you mean to say that since we offer the lowest prices in the industry , so that means we give poor services??? This is not so with UCVHOST. We try to give the best from our side to everybody who is with us.
We never make unannounced upgrades. We always inform 2-3 days prior to the upgrade to everybody and that too they are done on weekends so that least amount of people get affected.
And regarding emergency upgrades, sir can you predict when will you have fever??? Same way we cannot predict when will something crash on the server. Our motive is to fix anything in the least amount of downtime. I think this is the best we can offer. Any other host will also do the same. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

UCVHOST is usefull if you want to host personal web site, or portfolio.
But if you want to use PHP, mySQL, or if you need support - then forget on UCVHOST! I have to admit that it's almost imposible to find cheaper web hosting, but as I said, if you need support (sometimes that's crucial) then, I wouldn't recommend their service.

If you'd like to transfer away from UCVHost, get comfy...almost 2 weeks now, and still waiting for them to authorize the transfer of my domains.
Sir we would like to tell you that on the basis of feedback from our clients and the reviews we have changed our support system considerably. All our support staff has been made to go through six sigma training so that they are able to offer you the best services. Also regarding domain transfer sir we are partners with Melbourne IT since 2003 so I dont think anybody will ever face issues on that. The whole procedure is done by them once a mail is put for transfer. So this will never be the case.
I had a VERY bad experience with them. It is 1$ per month but you gain such a poor service that it is not worth it.
The website response time is extremely slow. Their MySQL performance is horrible. Emails sometimes do not get to you. I emailed support several times and they just ignored this issue completely.
The worst thing is that 2 months ago suddenly all files on server have disapeared due to some upgrade that they did without warning in advance. Everything was completely deleted. Luckily I had a backup for one of my websites. Not luckily at all, they had no backups and 2 websites have evaporated.
Sir email support can never be ignored since every email you send to us generates a ticket id and it remains pending till it is not answered and closed from client end. Our senior support teams continuously monitors these pending tickets till they are resolved. SO NONE OF THE TICKETS CAN EVER BE PENDING.
Regarding back ups!!! we take backups of your server every alternate day. So you dont have to worry about your data if you are hosted with us. If suppose we had taken backup of your server yesterday and today your site gets hacked or something else happens we would have data till the previous date. So you should never worry about your data with UCVHOST.

I have purchased the basic and an Ecommerce site hosting plans from UCVHost. The basic site setup without issue and functions most of the time. The Ecommerce site was purchased recently and "was not so good". The automated scripts failed to generate account and after many, many , many chat and emails the site is somewhat functional but lacks shopping cart, email and most other apps. I have finally given up and requested a refund on the Ecommerce site but UCVHost is no longer responding to communications. Looks like I wil have to go the cancel payment via credit card route with these guys.
If your site is not critical, the low cost may work for you but if you are serious about availablity and support I suggest you try else where.
My web site frequently goes down, if you need a database manipulation on your website do not host it on UCVhost. Even for 12$, it is a waste of money. Support staff don't listen, they just say ok, but nothing changes...
I have been with ucvhost for a few years. Sites will go up and down periodically (and they won't tell you), some more than others depending on what server they put you on. So keep track of your website's uptime.
If you contact them about a problem, they will fix it if it's easy.
If it's inconvenient or takes some work to fix the problem, they'll lie to you, saying "your site is working" or "your site will be up in 2 hours". None of which is true.
And if you politely continue asking for assistance in getting your site to work again, they will just ignore you.
IU use to recommend ucvhost due to the cheap price, but will not do that again. I will also be migrating my websites from ucvhost to another service.
Sir if we are doing some maintenance on your server then we always inform our clients 2 days prior to that and that too they are done on weekends. If there is some emergency maintenance then also we make sure to inform everybody. You must have had an emergency downtime probably that is why you have faced this issue. Also we have now improved our server quality and the hardware installed is the latest. So there will be very remote chances of your server going down due to some emergency.
Regarding assistance on live chat,, there is not such action allowed on the chat whereby you can ignore a customer. All the chats have to be taken by support people because at the end of the day the senior support person checks the log. We have all the systems in place so that none of you is left unsatisfied.
You can try other hosts too and compare the services,, that is not an issue,, you willsurely know the difference.

I've used this hosting company for about 5 years which is based in India. The servers go down from time to time and the support reply time is slow but for $12 a year I haven't complained until now. Over the last month they have started to filter the emails and I've lost tons of emails. This is not acceptable!!!! I've asked them to stop and even talked to the owner... he said he's move my site to another server which he did but nothing changed. He continued to filter my emails.. I'm moving my site and will never return!
