I've been with UHS hosting for a couple years now and I've had great service. The people at UHS know what they are talking about if you have any questions and are always helpful. The servers are fast and the hosting is cheap. What else would you want from webhosting? Go with U-Hs.com and you won't be disappointed!
At first I experienced a good service from UHS, reliable website and excellent customer service.
Then, for the past 1 year or so. It turns upside down. Emails can be lost and no where to found, or it can be delivered 12 hours laters.
If you try to contact customer service forget it, they will reply to you 3 months later (that after you email them every 2 weeks).
If you don't trust me, try it. You will post the same comment as mine.
Our website design and hosting experience has been wonderful since switching to UHS. I'm a local client of theirs and can say the respect and reliability I feel I deserve has been achieved since I switched to UHS.
Recommending them for domain registration, site design, and web hosting is no problem as they are one of the best out there is seems. I'm not too sure about the reviews prior these this one but as long as you respect their policies they are excellent.
I previously highly recommended UHS but no longer feel I can. In fact, after not hearing back from their email customer service for over 24 hours (I was trying to set up a new hosting account), I decided to go with another host - the current #1! The reason is UHS's spotty customer service. Their uptime is excellent and when their customer service happens, it is very good, friendly and cheerful. But they seem to go through periods where emails go unanswered, or are answered only after great delay. Once there was a screw-up on my account and when I brought it to their attention, they immediately upgraded my account free of charge permanently - but again, the incosistency of their service undermines my confidence in them. So although they're pretty much rock solid and their prices are great - their customer service is very inconsistent. I hope they will deal with that for once and for all, as they're on the verge of losing me as their customer. BTW, when I contacted the new hosting company, I was in touch by AIM messenger within minutes and set up the new account asap. No hassles, no waiting, good experience.
At Jan 18th 2006, UHS told me that my site consumed too much CPU and memory so they suspended my site for
they considered it as security hole in my phpbb forum. At that time, my site was operated quite well with
nearly 90 users visit my site every 5 minutes, so of course the bandwidth and memory consumption is high.
I understood them that there are many other sites in the same server and agree them to bring down my site
IF there is security hole in my site. But I required them to identify where is the security hole so that
I can fix them. They cannot answer.
My site has been upgraded to the latest version of phpbb plus phpbb security mod. And during the period they
unsuspended my site, the CPU and Memory consumption is only around 20%-30% based on their control panel.
Till 31th Jan, UHS told me that either I change to another company or upgrade to their dedicated server.
They donot know where is the issue at all and I have to change my virtual server provider. It costed me
many days more to upload to another server and fix the display problem of Chinese characters. Then I asked
them to refund my remaining cash as promised. Till now May 12th 2006, UHS still has not refunded my cash yet.
One support said:"I was the one who posted you'd have it within 48 hours however I didn't realize there was
more work to a refund then just getting confirmation back."
Most importantly is: my site now has only around 5 users visit every 5 minutes. It is totally ruined by UHS.
And one more thing, UHS's data center was brought down once in year 2005 for nearly 1 week and they said they
were attacked and had to move to another data center, there was no compensation from them.
You should be careful with UHS if your site is going to run very well and consumed lots of bandwidth in near future.
GREAT hosting provider. Always willing to answer any questions with a quick response time. Uptime in my experience is 100%. Finally a company that really takes care of its clients.
UHS customer service is absolutely great. Not that you need to use it that often! But lightning quick replies and a very proactive, friendly, helpful attitude. One or two little glitches were remedied immediately and they are clearly dedicated to superior customer service. Kudos to UHS.
I never knew review sites existed up until now which is an excellent idea because I'm extremely happy with my current host would love to spread the word. I understand how hard it can be to find a reliable web host but also a stable web host that isn't going to disappear within a couple months. UHS seems like the sort of company that will be here for a long time.
I've been with UHS a few months but am always getting surprised as to how fast responses are to my questions and how friendly all of their staff is.
Uptime has been nothing but the best and definitely lives up to their 99.9% uptime guarantee.
Price is less then market price compared to other hosts that offer the same features which is nice to know you're saving money
The features are the best part because you get Cpanel which is my favorite control panel compared to like exim or plesk which were the only options at my old host. They also have stuff like Fantastico which is an autoinstaller for scripts and makes life a lot easier sometimes. They have more but if I listed them all it would go on forever.
Plus there money back guarantee made it a bit easier to switch to them because I knew I could get 100% of my money back if I didn't like them which it looks like I'll never have to do.
I'm really enjoying the fact that I don't need to worry about my site being down at all and can refer them to you without hesitation :)

Very helpful and friendly staff are only the beggining! I find the longer I'm with the them the more I enjoy their hosting escpecially seeing how a few of my buddies are always complaining about the place hosted with. I've now got a few of my friends to switch who were put on a different server as me but have the same DNS information which meant nothing to me until one of them wanted their account switched to the same server as me. The cool part is that they didn't have to change their dns information at their registrar becauses they're all linked (no downtime in other words). I've never seen this anywhere else but very much appreciate it incase I want to switch to a different server with them. Thanks guys :)
Ultimate Hosting Solutions is a wonderful host. I dont have my site anymore, but when i did, they were very helpful and friendly. I rate them a 5/5 because there prices are great, when you need help there all ears and overall i really enjoyed there services. If i had another site, i would definatly use Ultimate Hosting Solutions again!
Great price and service from Ultimate Hosting Solution. So many new surprises and new features added. Just the other day I found they have OSCommerce plugin available for free! I got my test site with shopping cart and Paypal payment intergrated in less than an hour. I can't ask for more. I will definitely ask my customers to switch over.

Ultimate Hosting Solutions is my favorite host yet.
They've demonstrated nothing but professional service since I started using their services back in 2001. My web site is adult oriented and I rely on uptime and speed. My site is my business (full income) and I wouldn't even consider switching my hosting server to a different company because they do demonstrate everything they promises such as uptime, reliability, great support and the list goes on. I hope this review helps anyone reading up on them because I understand the painful process of finding a good reliable host which is cost effective towards and so far they've been the best I've ever used on the net.
I decided to take the plunge and try these guys out despite a couple bad reviews that were recently posted here. I must say that whatever they experienced seems to of been out of the ordinary because so far everything has been working 100% and I'm really happy I made the switch to them.
One thing I noticed was that the most recent reviews that are negative are all referring to basically the same issue and that’s why I wasn’t too concerned by switching to them.

I changed to UHS 1 month ago and I shall rate it 5/5, since I can access everything(ftp, website, cpanel) within 24hrs after I've done my transaction through paypal. I wouldn't think there is any problem since UHS got rated 5/5 here, saying that the customer service is good and blah blah blah....However, after a few days, my site went down, and I did lose some money from the down time. I sent a few emails to them but there are no any single response. First I thought it's only my problem since I am from HK, and ignoring chinese???? I gotta wait for 5-6 days for them to bring my site work. They sent 2 emails saying that the servers are being attack and now changing it to a new one.
I didn't ask for refund since i only paid for 1 month.
Moreover, I can't update my credit card through UHS domain but not for another registrar.
I have been a client of UHS for over a year now and have endured a couple tough times when we experienced periodic downtime, though UHS has just moved their servers from a very poor datacenter to a new one and we are getting better then ever uptime and speeds. Apparently they leased their servers through a company called Managed.com, and Managed.com was entirely responsible for the downtime, though UHS maintained constant telephone communication with us during this time at their expense and has even compensated us for 6 months of free hosting at their loss! I find their support un-paralleled and even though we both had to endure a tough time due to Managed.com's incompetance, we are now running smoothly and perfectly again. I still strongly recommend UHS for their awesome support.
The first days after buying two domain names I would have rated these guys 5of5. However, when you cannot get through to the site or to support and the server has been down since Friday and today is Sunday night...what happenned to 99.9% up time...it is non existant and the site may b too. If I can ever get through to these people, I will demand a refund based on there 30 day refund policy. If the refund policy is like the uptime guarantee... I guess I can kiss my money goodbye.
What a disaster! I decided to try out a new hosting service after having a somewhat dissapointing 2 1/2 year run with another host. I saw UHS and decided they had everything I wanted and more. The price was about par with the rest so after reading that they were rated #1 on WEBHOSTJURY, with not one bad review, I figured I can't go wrong! RIGHT? NO... WRONG! Holy cow! After only 30 hours, my site went down and for 2 days I had no access accept for using their control panel. I must have sent about a dozen emails to various accounts they list for support, and hardly ever got a response. For the first 2 days there was no response and then came the email saying that the PC I was placed on was having technical problems. I somehow got lost in the shuffle and they never really helped. I asked for my money back and got it but then the nighmare began with the domain name. I still had the domain I purchased at UHS but could not get refunded for it and my login to adjust the name servers wouldn't work either. I went to another host and had to apply for a new domain in the mean time. It took another 4 days for that to be resovled. So in total my site was down for one reason or another for atleast 6 days and now I'm stuck with two similar domains on a MUCH BETTER HOST.
It has to happen someday that someone would be upset. Nothing is perfect, especially web hosting companies. These guys may be good in general, but I got the bad end of the stick this time. I have to report it as I see it.
Don't choose u-hs. Unstable server. Always met a "apache (1.3.33 (Unix)) failed" problem. Although I still can access the cpanel and ftp, no one can access my site on the internet for 5 days. I wrote an email to them and no one answered me. Still waiting someone in the company to solve my problem.

Server Uptime:
Server uptime is something that I never believe because some companies state 100% uptime. Honestly from my experience 100% uptime is impossible because they need to take the server down for software updates and that sort of stuff. Ultimate Hosting Solutions states 99.9% uptime and so far I haven’t seen any so this is a very good sign.
Affiliate program they offer:
Great little program that actually pays out. I've had many affiliate accounts places to try and make some extra money and usually find that other places have very high minimum payouts. They don't have a minimum payout and I've been able to cash out at less then $10.
I'm really enjoying known my web site is in good hands and is up when I want it to be. Best host ever! :)
I switched over to (Ultimate Hosting Solutions) hosting when my plan with my old hosting company stopped offering me the features that i needed.
It's been close to a year now and it has been a wonderful experience having my web site hosted with them. Wonderful staff and support along with an incredible number of features for a low price.
It's nice to know that there still is an honest, customer oriented hosting company on the net. They've got my vote and a few others from what I can see.

After reading a few reviews on here I decided to try uhs out. I must say I sure am amazed at how well they treat even the small customers (me). Every support and pre sales staff that I've talked to at uhs has been extremely helpful and more then willing to go the extra mile. Ultimate Hosting Solutions is great. I was paying too much for a host before ($24.95 for Netcom's Identity Pack) and found searching for a new host discouraging. I thought a "budget" host would have little to offer--instead, I found they have everything I want!
They offer all the goodies (like cgi stuff) but best of all, they explain how things work and how to set them up they're Manual and FAQs (something Netcom sure doesn't do).
And, I appreciate how quickly and well they respond to questions. I'm most enthusiastic about Ultimate Hosting Solutions and will recommend them to anyone.

I signed up with "UHS" after seeing the excellent reviews on here for them. Since I've been with them I've had more then the 99.9% uptime which they offer. They don't have free accounts which is what I was initially looking for however the prices extremely low and worth every penny. I was a little skeptical about looking for a web host by surfing hosting review sites but haven't had a second thought about doing that since I came to "UHS". Some of the options they have such as online e-mail, actual web stats, and the cpanel interface seemed useless to me until I started using them. I don't have time to learn how to do stuff the hard way so I love these options. They say they answer support questions within 12-24 hours but in my experience it has been within a couple hours after sending them a support ticket or e-mail. One thing that I really enjoy is the amount of respect they treat me with when I contact them or they contact me. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone who needs web hosting of any kind. Besides great prices, and controls their customer service is first rate.
