Verdict :
For quite a few years me2uweb were a really great hosting company. At the time, their offer was above average in terms of space and facilities. Now, their packages are a very long way below what I'd expect (and have obtained) for the same or less money.
Support was only be email, but originally, was competent and as quick as the situation demanded.
Recently (Tuesday 1st February 2011), without fore-warning, customers' accounts and all services were transferred to eXtendnet (http://www.extendnet.co.uk). There was no explanation (was it a take-over? financial collapse of Me2UWeb? sale of Me2UWeb?). From that time, support has dropped into a void. Emails to support - the only way of getting in touch, even the most urgent - are unanswered for a week. The answer when it comes may not be appropriate. Technically, on one occasion, all services for a key client stopped due to having been accidentally re-set to a lower spec hosting plan which didn't support them.
I am currently moving all my clients away from them, either as plans expire or before they expire if they are 'mission critical'.
ME2UWEB are an absolute shower. I have logged numerous support emails with no response other than an automated email saying they'll get back to you in 24 hours (which they doesn't happen)
NB you can't phone them and their registered office is just an accountants).
Have used me2uweb for several years now and have had no need to look elsewhere for hosting services. Up time is good. Always get quick, polite, useful responses to support emails. Control panel is great - lots of info, easy to access. No complaints. Would recommend to anyone.
great host, had an email downtime of about 3 hours the other day nothing too serious. great prices, great host - must be good because i havnt had to use customer support!! good webstats too. definately recommend to anyone! (i have the ultra:basic package - 50mb and 1gb of bandwith - for £25 a year - great value!)
very good value for money web hosting. good control panel. easy to use. emails replied quicky although they don't provide telephone support. downside not easy to find cgi configuration and other features. i'd recommend the service though.
This host support was great, tickets usually answered within 2 hours max. Downside to support was no telehphone avaliable. Host in London docklands, Features are good but if you decide to trnasfer your domain away from them you lose your hosting account as well.
Servers were ok although once had downtime of 12 hours but not bad over the year.
